Let The Festivity Commence, Part 1!

‘Tis the season to be hungry, fa la la la.

Christmas is upon us already, where on earth has the year gone? It’s flown on by, which is quite scary. One month until 2018, don’t freak out. So, in the spirit of Christmas, I ventured into the city, and strolled around the thoroughly festive Christmas Market, with my camera in tow of course.

I snapped many pictures, and it was lovely to get back into street photography!

And of course, Brown Thomas was decked out fantastically, as per usual. So, naturally, I had to snap hundreds of pictures of their window displays.

As I was taking these pictures, I felt as if I was in “Mannequin”, and thatΒ at any moment, one would move, and I would royally poop my pants.Β And before you raise yourΒ brows at me, questioning my sanity, I must warn you, as I type this, I am dying with a head cold. So, I’m not entirely sane at theΒ moment. On with the show!

IMG_2168.JPGTheseΒ mannequins were so perfectly positioned within the displays, I just had to photograph them. They were so intriguing.

The displays had such a music video vibe, it was so artsy and colourful.

Whilst everyone was taking in the lit up streets, I was far more fascinated with Brown Thomas’ windows. They were fabulous, and deserved some recognition.

And this display had a more traditional appearance, yet it was still endearing. I justΒ had to get a close up of the faces, what with the lighting being incredible.

I hope you liked this little post! I just wanted to share with you the colourful images that I had the pleasure of taking. On Thursday, I’ll have some more photos for you, but more focused on the streets of Galway City!

Have a fab week!
