Yes, I’m back. And yes, I’m alive.
I’ve been taking a little break, just to give myself time to let my energy return. I won’t lie, I haven’t had any energy to post anything, but I’m here now, and that’s all that matters.
In other news, IT’S FINALLY AUTUMN! MY FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR! Can you tell I’m excited? It’s not very obvious.
Tis’ the season to wear cosy jumpers and woolly hats, and inhale the crisp air. This is my most favourite time of year; the sunsets are exceptional, the leaves scattered everywhere, and my most favourite part….it’s cold. Yes, I know I’m strange, but I adore cold weather. And of course, my fashion will be quite Autumnal this time. Maybe I could post something about autumnal fashion? I don’t know, just an idea.
So of course, I ventured on one of my Nature walks, during a blissfully crisp evening. It was so enjoyable. I was in my element.
There’s just something about this season. It brings me so much joy, especially this year. I’m growing more into myself, and I am a different person to what I was last year. I’m growing up, really. And trying to enjoy as many sunset’s as I can.
And I finally ventured into a forest in my hometown. I avoided it, because I didn’t want to do it alone. Only because these woods are crawling with ghosts (trust me, it’s true, there’s stories. I have Goosebumps.) It’s something I’ve wanted to photograph for months, to capture the sunshine peaking through the trees, and I did just that. That can be crossed off my photography bucket list.
Oh October, how I adore thee. It’s almost time to watch Hocus Pocus.
Anyway, I’ll bid you a fabulous evening on this Thoughtful Sunday, and I’ll see you Monday.
“If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then Autumn would be the magic hour”.
