‘Stop And Smell The Roses’

I realise I never posted on Monday, or Wednesday for that matter. Damn it Alice, get your act together. A bit of self discipline always helps.

So, it’s been a hectic few days. I’ve been driving all over the place, to work, to a Wedding (in torrential weather), so I never got the chance to go out and take pictures. Yes, I could have done so on Sunday, but why bother when I’m dressed comfortably and feel like lazing around, and stuffing my face with some healthy, nutritious chocolate.

So, I shall share this picture I took last week. Don’t you just love pink roses? They’re so beautiful to look at, and of course, photograph. I am thrilled I’m enjoying photographing flowers now. I used to avoid doing so, as I figured they wouldn’t be that nice or appealing, but now there is absolutely no stopping me. I resembleΒ a manic women loitering by a bunch of flowers, looking through a lens, muttering “ah yes, gorgeous” repeatedly. (Don’t worry, I am of a sane mind).Β I just love to stop an observe now. It’s a fabulous experience. Your senses are open to the surrounding nature, your eyes darting & searching for the next enticing suspect. Photography has become such a thrill for me, and discussing my personal quirks andΒ experiences with you (no matter how mad they may seem), is truly a lovely thing. Yes, this is but a simple image, but to me, it contains so much vibrancy, so much life, so much to offer.

On another note, Why do I say “so” so much? Maybe it’s an Irish thing.

SO, (hehe) I shall bid you a good day and fabulous weekend. And once again, thank you for putting up with me, and my madness.

Until next time, cheerio.

-Alice, xo

P.S. I promise I will have new photos to share by next week. Bear with (Miranda reference.)

And hope is brightest when it dawns from fears.”

My name is Alice Frawley, and I am currently located in little old Ireland. I am a Photography enthusiast, and intend to make this my career, no matter how long it takes. To transform a hobby into a career, could potentially be the best decision of my life. Photography has been my passion, for quite some time now, and I am absolutely desperate to get myself out there, and show the world my photographs. This is a completely new journey for me to embark on.
