Sometimes, on days when I don’t feel like going for long walks, I often wander around my house or in the garden, capturing my pets in their day to day life.
There’s just something about photographing your pets, that fills you with nothing but happiness and contentment. My cats are incredibly photogenic, no matter how much they tire from me photographing them. I just love them (no matter how creepy I must seem following them around with a camera, begging for them to look at me).
Whilst attempting to photograph my dog, whom refused to stay still and just wanted to play, I took a moment to relax. And in that moment, one of my Cats (Mollie), strolled towards me, peering through the gate. And of course, I snapped a picture without even thinking, and the result was just beautiful. I mean, look at that face? She is a goddess, whose eyes dazzle all whom lay eyes on her.
I just love how artistic this appears. I managed to capture her, through the tiniest of gaps, and this is the result. I won’t lie, I’m proud of myself and my work. I don’t often feel so, so bear with me.
Observing what occurs around me, and not questioning it, is most enjoyable. I never over analyse, I just do it, and snap a picture.
Photography is so much fun, I just relish it so much.
