‘Every Flower Is A Soul Blossoming In Nature..’

Oh Monday. Please be good to me, be good to us. Treat us nicely, we’re your friends. Anyhow, excuse my Monday madness.

As most of you are aware, I am really enjoying capturing flowers at the moment. Floral photography excites me, and is incredibly enticing. Pardon me if I ramble too much, I know it may be annoying, but I just love talking about my imagery, and how I interpret them.

My new 50mm lens is actually quite good at capturing flowers, despite the fact that that is not what it was originallyΒ constructed for, but mind you, I always differ from the crowd.

I felt the need to photograph this bunch of pink flowers, as it appears as if they’re nearing their end. By posting this, I wanted to prove something; even though some things may appear brittle and less bright and less strong than what they used to be, does not make it any less beautiful. Most are drawn to the freshly blossomed bunch of flowers. Whereas with me, I am drawn to what is often ignored. That’s just who I am, as a photographer, and as a person.

One of my favourite things in life to do is, observe. Observing what surrounds me, keeps me going, keeps life enthralling. Being an observer is a great quality to have, and will always be cherished.

Too much rambling for one day, I’m done now.

Have a splendid Monday, I hope it treats you well.
