My First Paid Job As A Photographer

So, on Thursday I had the amazing opportunity to, once again, work with Lily Jewellery & Accessories. This time, it was a completely different approach, which I was ready for. I always love a challenge. I worked with the Manager Edel, and together we combined and brainstormed ideas. Surprisingly, I wasn’t nervous. Which is progress for me, personally.

Anyway, I was instructed to photograph an abundant amount of fabulous jewelry (believe me, I wanted every piece for myself). This particular image is an outtake out of the hundreds of photographs. I suggested ideas, which were not ignored. I love it.

This was something I’ve never done before, and I’ll be doing the exact same thing next week. Cannot wait! Photographing specific stock of jewelry can really test you, it’s a whole other ball game. So, I was very appreciative that I brought my lighting equipment, hence there would have been shadows everywhere.

So, I’m proud of the progress I am making. And, on Thursday evening, I created and ordered my own professional business cards! The minute I receive them in the post, I’ll be showing you pictures and most likely rambling.

Have a fab weekend!

P.S. I didn’t charge that much at all. I’m not in this for the money, I’m in this for the love if it. The only way to become successful, is to focus on the opportunity rather than the money.

My name is Alice Frawley, and I am currently located in little old Ireland. I am a Photography enthusiast, and intend to make this my career, no matter how long it takes. To transform a hobby into a career, could potentially be the best decision of my life. Photography has been my passion, for quite some time now, and I am absolutely desperate to get myself out there, and show the world my photographs. This is a completely new journey for me to embark on.
