On a dull day like this, I felt it wise to share a bright, colourful, summery vibed photograph. I jinxed myself yesterday. I hoped it wouldn’t rain. And guess what? It did. Absolutely fantastic. Bloody brilliant.
Besides the unbearable humidity, the morning was lovely. A gentle warm breeze enveloped us, and then the dreaded rain descended from the gloomy skies. And with that, the sun vanished. Despite the sudden downcast of rain, it still proved to be a relatively nice day. I just didn’t get the chance to go outside and take photos. So, I shall share a photograph I captured yesterday, of a lovely bunch of flowers recently planted in my back garden.
I’m really enjoying using my 70-300mm lens when capturing Flowers. It has great focus, and results with great quality photos. I plan on investing in more lenses and add them to my growing collection, but, unfortunately, that requires actual money. Shocking, I know. Hopefully, the rest of the summer will consist of bearable heat, and lack cruel humidity, and less bugs. Is that wishing for too much?
Hopefully, my summer will consist of little adventures. I’m staring work next month, part time, but on the days I’m not working, I plan on investing 100% into my photography. You’ll be sick of me by the end of the summer. Considering I have my first driving lesson tomorrow (I’ve been putting it off for months, looks like adulthood is approaching. Wish me luck!!), I plan on driving around when I can, and when I am capable of doing so. For months I’ve envisioned myself packing up my camera equipment, getting in my car, and just drive to wherever I want. Now how adventurous and riveting would that be? Hopefully, I can take you along on those little journeys.
P.S. I love sitting down and typing all of this. I am aware of how much I ramble, but it’s a lovely feeling to know my words are being read. I so appreciate your ongoing support. Here’s to a great year!
