Summer Is Coming: Photo Shoot Among Nature

Hi, everyone!

So, yesterday a photo shoot took place! On a glorious Monday Afternoon, how could I not? Anyway, I decided to take photos for a competition I have entered. It’s the Volkswagen Snapshot competition. So, being inspired by the Volkswagen logo, I came up with the genius idea of sticking the logo itself onto a pair of my round sunglasses. I’m so creative. (This particular image was an outtake, that I did not use! If you click the link below, you’ll see the photo I entered! Thanks!)

So, the afternoon itself was lovely. The sunshine was peaking through the branches of the towering trees, the gentle breeze ruffling our hair. It’s on days like these, Nature comes alive. I was in my element, even though the sun itself was blinding me completely. Albeit, my pale skin was enjoying the bit of sunlight (it’s not used to it).

Before I photographed in this particular location, my mother had treated us to ice creams. How could I refuse? 99’s on a hot sunny day, are always a good idea. Is it just me, or are 99’s ice creams so much smaller? And they’re not 99 cent anymore, they’re ā‚¬1.70. That does not make sense. Gosh, now I’m rambling about ice cream.

So, all in all, I had a wonderful day. But now, I have a favor to ask of you all. I mentioned that I entered the competition held by Volkswagen, but now I need your votes for my actual picture! So, can you please click on the link below, and vote for my photograph? I would so appreciate it, it would mean the absolute world to me. This is my first time entering a photography based competition, so I would love to get something out of it, even if it’s just recognition, I’d be grateful. Please, please, please vote for my picture! Thanks so much!
