It’s happened. I now thoroughly enjoy taking pictures of Daffodils. I knew this would bloody happen. I’m psychic. For some time, I have avoided photographing any sort of flower, to be honest, because I never thought I’d be that good at it. But, it doesn’t matter how good or bad you are at something, just as long as you enjoy it. Don’t mind what anyone else thinks, just as long as you have a smile on your beaming face and believe in yourself, that’s all that matters.
Despite the increasing temperatures this Spring, (I’m so close to melting. I should probably avoid wearing black.) I have relished capturing blossoming flowers, the golden sun, and even animals. Spring is a time of year, where everything glows.
(Side note: I could ave taken lovely images yesterday. I was so annoyed at myself for forgetting my camera, because I was in Oranmore (Galway), and the scenery was amazing. But, I have to learn to enjoy the view, rather than always having the initial reaction to capture it through a lens. It’s important to see it with your own eyes sometimes. )
I think this is definitely something I should do more. Flowers are beautiful things to capture, especially up close. I honestly adore how vivid they are. I love taking time to stop and admire the flowers, in which are often ignored. Their beauty deserves to be acknowledged, as they are magnificent souls blossoming in Nature. They have a fantastic way of making me smile. Especially when I’m looking at them though my lens. It’s a lovely experience. So, expect plenty of more flowers. I don’t usually dabble in Flower Photography, but I am certainly going to try. Just wait and see!
