Walking In A Winter Wonderland, in March

GoodΒ Evening!

I captured something strange this morning, very strange. Peculiar, really. Snow! Actual falling snow! In March? In Spring? In Ireland? What a strange week, honestly. It’s still snowing, as I type. I’m not going to deny, but, I’m over the moon. I’ll be honest, I’m finding it quite difficult to restrain myself from making snow angels.

Of course, I felt the urge to venture outside, camera in tow, Pyjamas still on, accompanied with a towel wrapped around my head. Thankfully, my neighbors were not around. Well, hopefully.

I haven’t seen snow for quite some time. It didn’t even snow during December. It feels like Christmas, even though it’s March. Strange. As I still haven’t taken Christmas decorations down from my window, it’s Christmas to me.

Whilst taking photos, my cat felt the need to wrap itself around my legs. He refused to be in photos, all he craved was to entangle himself around my pyjama covered legs. I actually resembled a mad cat lady. No surprise there. Quite hilarious, if I do say so myself.

‘Silently, like thoughts that come and go, the snowflakes fall, each one a gem.’

My name is Alice Frawley, and I am currently located in little old Ireland. I am a Photography enthusiast, and intend to make this my career, no matter how long it takes. To transform a hobby into a career, could potentially be the best decision of my life. Photography has been my passion, for quite some time now, and I am absolutely desperate to get myself out there, and show the world my photographs. This is a completely new journey for me to embark on.
